The "Pan-Pacific Build and fly Tribute" involves the construction of models jointly in Australia and the US.
The models involved were:
1) The famous Fokker F.VIIb/3m trimotor monoplane "Southern Cross" flown by the crew of Australians Charles Kingsford Smith, Charles Ulm, and Americans Harry Lyon (navigator) and James Warner (radio operator) which made the first Trans pacific flight from the US to Australia in 1928. The "Southern Cross" project seeks to commemorate particularly the contribution of the two US crew members who have been erased from history.
2) The 'Kookaburra' -Westland Wigeon 111A in which Keith Anderson and Bobby Hitchcock (above) were lost while searching for Kingsford Smith.
3) The well know and iconic Keil Kraft Senator rubber model of 1950's vintage designed by Albert Hatfull and often considered the most built rubber model ever.
4) The "Denny Radio Plane" project which reminds us of the very first mass produced radio control model aircraft.

Both outdoor and indoor versions have been made in both cases.
